AIRLINE / TRAVEL INDUSTRY STAFF FAILING TO TRAVEL
Travelling on concessions is always stressful, even when confirmed. As an additional benefit to Airline and Travel Industry Staff the possibility exists for some flexibility in your departure planning. The following item is an addendum to the Terms and Conditions solely for you.
Dependant upon pre-existing bookings, airline and travel industry staff who are offloaded or fail to board their return flight may be able to use the property for an extra night thus relieving the stress of staff travel and the difficulty of finding alternative accommodation at very short notice. This benefit is available for one extra night only and must be pre-arranged with the owner before the beginning of your stay. Following confirmation from the owner that this benefit is available to you, the following additional
terms and conditions apply:
1. Check out the next morning is by 11am.
2. A call to the cleaner must be made to inform her of the revised check out day. This call must be made as soon as possible
(the contact number for the cleaner is within the Welcome Pack). Local calls are free.
3. The charge for use of the apartment for an additional night is only 50% of the daily rate you paid. This must be left at the
apartment for the cleaner in either US or Barbados dollars utilising the current exchange rate.
4. The owner must be informed that such use has taken place as soon as possible after your stay together with details of your
booked flight and actual flight taken. The owner reserves the right to ask for copies of your original booking and return flight
boarding card but this will only occur should misuse of the property contravening the booking terms be suspected.
5. A request for this benefit will only be declined if forward bookings preclude the use of the property for the night of your planned
departure. Whilst the website availability calendar for the property is kept up-to-date, last minute changes may not be indicated.
Consequently, even though the website may indicate that the property is available; you may not stay the additional night without
prior approval. Notwithstanding the terms herein, in extremis a telephone call to the owner may be made to request an additional
night. Under these circumstances, if the property is available, verbal consent will usually be given.
